AlhamduliLah, we have now paid the last lender to HMCC/Masjid
as-Sunnah, which means that inshaAllah we would have
cleared HMCC's debt.
Allaah subhaanaHuwat' ala can not be thanked enough for
allowing us to pay the centre's debt in such a short period of
time. It is also truly amazing how so many brothers and
sisters have come forward and supported HMCC is so many ways.
May Allaah ta'ala reward you all immensely for all the
support you gave us, by way of your duas, publicising our
appeal amongst your network of friends, family and colleagues;
your effort in fund raising as captains, individuals or organising
fund raising events. Every little donation made
all the difference when so many of you came forward with your
donations, as well as with your loans when the time for it was
critical, may Allaah azza wa jaal accept this effort from all
of us.
May Allaah strengthen us in our emaan, increase our effort to
establish His deen, unify our hearts and continue to manifest
our deep unity with such acts of national support as we have
witnessed first hand.
And spend in the Cause of Allah and
do not throw yourselves into destruction,
and do good. Truly, Allah loves the
good-doers. (Al-Baqarah 2:195)
Helping
to establish a permanent Islamic Centre counts as sadaqah jariyyah, a
special act of charity which continues to provide the reward of ongoing
good deeds to its giver even after they have reached their grave.
